Projects and Updates
Blog:
November's blog post is about the value of taking breaks, even from enjoyable creative endeavors. We all need a reminder now again, right?
Shop:
With the holidays fast appraoching, I am trying to stay on top of adding new works to my shop. There will be sales throughout the season, so if you are eyeing something for youself, or someone else, you may wish to take advantage of one (or more!) of them.
With my shop growing as I continue to add new pieces, I recently created several new collections to make browsing a bit easier, and to make it feel a bit more curated and cohesive. I invite you to pop in and have a look around!
Commissions:
While I do not advertise this often, given the time of year it is, I thought it worth a mention: I am open to taking occasional commissions, and have a bit of preliminary information here, including prices, shipping, and tips for how we can work together to make it simple, enjoyable, and informal-yet-professional exchange.
Last but not least, here are a few photos from some of my recent walks in our area. Autumn is so photogentic....
Sketchbook
I have been on a bit of a "Harold kick" recently, as he is currently my favorite character. I want to incorporate him into some holiday-themed illustrations, and these sketches were the first ideas I had, one of which I have already started a finished version of (pictured in the "Works in Progress" section).

Personal Tidbit
I just celebrated another trip around the sun about a week ago. My husband and I stayed cozy at home and listened to traditional Japanese koto music and watched a Japanese film called "An Autumn Afternoon." It really is all about the simple things.
